Homework #1

Due

• 29 September (Thursday), 2011 (4pm)
• Late submissions will be only accepted by 30 September (midnight) and assessed with a penalty of 30%.

Submission

• Send an email message to cs579@nlp.kaist.ac.kr with a single zip file that contains six Prolog files (e.g. q1.pl, q2.pl, ..., q6.pl), each including an answer (Prolog code) to each question.
• Title your email "[CS579] HW#1 your name", such as "[CS579] HW#1 Jin-Woo Chung".

SWI-Prolog version

• We will test your program with the latest version of SWI-Prolog (ver. 5.10.5). So we also recommend you to use this version. If you want to use another version, please let us know by specifying the version information in your email message.

Homework #2

Due

• 28 October (Friday), 2011 (midnight)
• There will be a late penalty until 30th October (midnight), with 30% off from the marked score.

Submission

• Send an email message to cs579@nlp.kaist.ac.kr with a single document file (doc, pdf and so on) that includes Prolog codes and your explanation about the codes (if necessary) for each question.
• Title your email "[CS579] HW#2 your name", such as "[CS579] HW#2 Jin-Woo Chung".
